Beer Bread
This is such an easy
wonderful recipe. You can use whatever beer you have on hand. The
bread is soft, dense and has a sourdough flavor. Delicious!
Ingredients:
3 cups self-rising flour
4 tablespoons sugar (brown or
white)
1 cans (12 ounces) beer
Preparation:
Pour all ingredients into a bowl
and mix well.
Place in a greased loaf pan and
let rise on top of a warm oven for 25 minutes.
Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
Baste with melted butter after 30
minutes of baking and baste again after 45 minutes of baking.
You can combine this excellent

Yield 1 loaf.
