Beer Bread
This is such an easy wonderful recipe.  You can use whatever beer you have on hand.  The bread is soft, dense and has a sourdough flavor.  Delicious!
Ingredients:
3 cups self-rising flour
4 tablespoons sugar (brown or white)
1 cans (12 ounces) beer
Preparation:
Pour all ingredients into a bowl and mix well. 
Place in a greased loaf pan and let rise on top of a warm oven for 25 minutes. 
Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
Baste with melted butter after 30 minutes of baking and baste again after 45 minutes of baking.

Yield 1 loaf.
