Potato Broccoli Cheese Soup

"Oh, yes this makes A LOT of soup.  But you can freeze some for vegetarian (replace the chicken stock cubes for vegetable stock cubes) house guests that you are expecting.  For a smaller quantity try halving the ingredients." Alesa

2 medium onions, diced
8 cloves garlic, minced
8 chicken stock cubes

16 ounces grated sharp cheddar
Preparation:
Place potatoes, onions, garlic, stock cubes, water and broccoli in a 6 quart crock pot.
