Broccoli Cheese Bake

“There are some dishes that become standard fare at family gatherings. I started making this maybe 10 years ago but it's definitely on its way to such status. For an idea of its flavor, think Broccoli Cheese soup, eaten with a fork.”

Ingredients:

3 bunches broccoli florets

1 medium onion, peeled

16 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded

2 cup flour

2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon fresh black ground pepper

2 teaspoon baking powder

2 cups milk

4 eggs

⅔ cup butter, melted
