Laura's Cheese Cake: Lemony and Good

Laura's Cheese Cake: Lemony and Good

“My mom made this cheese cake a lot and with really thick graham cracker crust to die for.” ShariPie

Ingredients:

Crust:

1½ cups (2 packages) graham crackers mashed

6 tablespoons butter

¼ cups of sugar

Filling:

2 ½ (8 ounces packages) of cream cheese (light version works also)

6 to 9 tablespoons of flour

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup plus 2 tablespoons of sugar

3 eggs

¼ teaspoon vanilla

½ teaspoon of lemon rind      

Preparation:

Push the graham cracker mixture into a round cake pan and set aside.

Mix together all filling ingredients and then poor into the crust.

Place cheesecake in a preheated oven at 350°F and cook at 325°F for 30 minutes.

Remove from oven and cool

Tips:

Really great topped off with strawberries.
