Bahama Mama

“Here is another tropical treat that is sure to please.  Beware; the Bahama Mama is a Rum lovers delight that can sneak up on you rather quickly.  With at least 5 types of rum, this island classic can get you feeling good in a hurry.  I'm told it's often served in coconuts or pineapples in the Bahama's.  Sounds like it's time to book a flight.  In the meantime, this tasty cocktail will suffice as your escape to the blue waters of the Caribbean.  Do enjoy....the Bahama Mama!” hamptonroadshappyhour

Ingredients:

.5 oz. Light Rum

.5 oz. Dark Rum

.5 oz. Malibu or Coconut Rum

.5 oz Spiced Rum

.5 oz. Bacardi 151 Rum

.5 oz. Kahlua

2 oz. Orange Juice

2 oz. Pineapple Juice

Splash Sweet and Sour mix

Splash Grenadine

Cherry or Pineapple wedge for garnish

Preparation:

Combine all of the liquid ingredients into an ice filled Collins glass.

Take a long spoon and gently stir.

Add a straw, and garnish accordingly.

If you're trying to impress someone, a little tropical umbrella adds a nice touch.

Do be careful, as the sweetness of this cocktail will tend to mask how potent it is.
