Whole Wheat Bread
“Wonderful
nutty and a little sweet.” Cherylb
Ingredients:
1 (in humid climate) to 1 ¼ cups lukewarm water (dry
climate)
¼ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup of molasses, maple syrup or honey
3 ½ cups of 100% Whole Wheat Flour
2 ½ teas instant yeast
¼ cup of nonfat dried milk
1 ¼ teas salt
Preparation:
Step 1: In a large bowl,
combine all of the ingredients and stir till the dough starts to leave the
sides of the bowl.
Move the dough to a
lightly greased surface, oil your hands, and knead it for 6 to 8 minutes until
the dough becomes smooth. (You can also use an electric mixer or food
processor, or even a bread machine programmed for manual or dough)
The dough should be
soft, yet firm enough to knead.
You can adjust the
consistency by adding additional water or flour if necessary.
