Venison Roast

“Recently we traded some shrimp for a beautiful piece of venison roast.  It seemed like perfect timing for our February focus on hearty cold weather foods.” Alesa 
Ingredients:
7 – 8 lb venison roast
2 large onions cut into 8ths
2½ oz dry garlic & herb seasoning
Water
Preparation:
Place the roast in a pressure cooker with the onions and seasoning.

Add water up to within an inch of the top of the meat.

Set on high until the regulator jiggles.

Reduce heat to med-high and cook for 2 ¾ to 3 hours.
Serve as you would with any roast; with veggies, on toast with melted cheese or mixed with some BBQ sauce on a soft bun!
