Ham and Cheese Pasta Bake

“Ham and Swiss cheese are baked in a creamy pasta casserole topped with a crunchy crust of golden bread crumbs.” Grandmaskitchen


1 box (12-ounce) tri-colored corkscrew pasta (about 3 3/4 cups)

2 tablespoons (¼ stick) butter or margarine, divided

1 bag (12-ounce) shredded Swiss cheese, divided

2 tablespoons bread crumbs

1 teaspoon dry mustard

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon nutmeg

1 cup milk

1 cup cubed ham (about 8 ounces)


Preheat oven to 350°F.

Lightly spray a 2-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Cook the pasta according to the package directions for the least amount of time.


Return to the saucepan.

Stir in 1 tablespoon butter.

Set aside.
