Italian Sunset

Here's a tasty cocktail that's light on alcohol, and heavy on flavor.  Not finding the origin of its name, one would assume that the "Italian" refers to the only spirit in the drink... Amaretto, and the "Sunset" refers to its multi-layered appearance mimicking a setting sun.  The short list of ingredients makes for an easy cocktail to whip up, and one that is perfect for those times when you want something on the lighter side.  We hope that you'll give it a try, our featured cocktail... Italian Sunset.  Salute!” hamptonroadshappyhour

Ingredients:

2 oz. Amaretto (Almond Liqueur)

3 oz. Orange Juice

3 oz. Tonic Water

.5 oz. Grenadine

Orange slice and/or Cherry to garnish

Directions:

Pour the Amaretto into an ice filled Collins glass.

Slowly add the Orange Juice (you should get a layered look), top with the Tonic Water, and
then drizzle the Grenadine over the top.

The heavier Grenadine will slowly settle towards the bottom.

Garnish according, insert a long straw, and get ready for a flavorful treat with your... Italian
Sunset.  Enjoy!
