Cool Cucumber Green Smoothie

“This smoothie is only 250 calories, but it actually makes a ton and leaves me feeling full.  For even more sustainability and added protein add a little peanut butter.  Also, feel free to substitute any of the fruit for your favorites.”  Emily

Ingredients:

1/2 c. almond milk

1/2 c. apple or orange juice

1/2 of a cucumber

1/2 of a banana

1/2 c. frozen strawberries

1/2 c. pineapple

2 handfuls of greens (I did a combo of spinach, kale, and chard)

Instructions:

Add liquids to the blender first, then add all the remaining ingredients.

Blend until smooth.

Makes one serving (250 calories)

Alternatives- eliminate juice to make it 65 calories less, or add 1 Tbsp raw peanut butter for 
protein (add 90 calories)
